The law of sin and death functions where there is judgment. The law brings judgment , wrath and punishment.
Some ask shouldn’t we be angry to correct people from what is wrong? Sometimes, we even think that we need to “highlight” or “emphasize” our righteousness with “anger”, we call this “righteous indignation”! But the Bible says
That means, no matter how right you feel you are, the minute you get angry or offended, you miss it. Every person has a sense of what is right or wrong. Our conscience functions by that, our behavior is guided by it. Before a person gets born again, his conscience is molded only by the traditions of men, what the world says is right, but not by the righteousness of God. He judges and excuses himself by the standard he adopts for himself, he lives by, for and to himself only in this world, not knowing that God is his maker and his ultimate judge. A man’s judgment is very subjective, confined to his own experience and therefore, extremely limited. Even in the natural, a person’s perspective changes with the broadening of view point from subjective to objective, personal to corporate, family to worldly considerations. God’s perspective is at the cosmic and heavenly level; it is the highest, broadest, deepest and the most thorough. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. His righteousness is the ultimate “Right”, and therefore anyone who runs against His Righteousness, runs into eternal judgment! God is Love, it is not His will to condemn us but to forgive and justify us, if we would just recognize our limitations and humble ourselves to His Infinite Wisdom!
There is a gap between the stimulus and the response. In that gap lies the freedom or power to choose a response. Your own choices define your true identity, not your circumstances. No event can change you on the inside unless you allow it to do so. The freedom to forge you own opinions, attitudes rests solely and uniquely with you.
Even before a fetus forms, a tiny heart begins to beat. The source of the heart’s beating is within the heart. It’s called autorhythmic. The heart has its own independent nervous system. AT least 40,000 nerve cells exist in a human heart. It has a thinking, feeling capability. The heart’s brain and the nervous system relay messages back and forth to the brain in the skull. Heart and brain hold an intelligent dialogue, the message from the heart appear to be capable of affecting an individual’s behaviour.
Righteousness is power. Righteousness is the grace, the anointing to be and to do right, it comes with redemption, justification and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to reside on the inside of a born again believer. Righteousness and “ischus”-moral strength are power twins; the former an innate force, the later its outworking power. God is your righteousness and He is your strength! There are two kinds of righteousness: the scribes and Pharisees’ righteousness of the law and the righteousness of grace.
God is Loving & Merciful, Not Harsh and Bitter
There had been a lot of disasters, in so many places, in such big scales; but actually, the world is very tragic:-strife, hurts, disappointments, poverty, lack, relationship break down, sickness, accidents, the list goes on and on.
